Terms of Service

Terms for Arcwoven websites, public workspaces, private access, generated outputs, and related services.

Effective date: 6/8/2026
Company: Arcwoven Systems
Contact: [email protected]

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of Arcwoven websites, public workspaces, private-access workspaces, APIs, generated models, exports, documentation, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Arcwoven does

Arcwoven helps users analyze software repositories and generate source-backed system models, architecture views, evidence summaries, validation information, and related artifacts (collectively, “Generated Outputs”).

Public/free access allows users to submit a public repository URL and open a temporary workspace. Private repositories, saved review work, team workflows, webhooks, backups, restore features, and administrative controls may require private access or a separate written agreement.

2. Eligibility and authority

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with Arcwoven and are not barred from using the Service under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you may not use the Service if you are under 13.

3. Public workspaces

Public workspaces are designed for public software repositories only. Unless Arcwoven states otherwise in the product, public workspaces are temporary and expire automatically within 24 hours, or sooner if shown in the product. Public workspaces are not a durable storage service. You are responsible for exporting Generated Outputs you want to keep before the workspace expires.

Arcwoven may reject, limit, suspend, or delete any public workspace or import request that is private, unsafe, excessive, unsupported, unlawful, credentialed, or inconsistent with these Terms.

4. Repository submissions and your responsibilities

When you submit a repository URL, source material, prompt, instruction, configuration, file, or other content to the Service, you represent that:

  1. you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it to Arcwoven for processing;
  2. the content is public or otherwise authorized for processing by Arcwoven;
  3. it does not include secrets, private keys, passwords, tokens, credentials, confidential information, regulated data, or personal information that you are not authorized to provide;
  4. your use of Arcwoven will not violate any repository license, third-party terms, export-control law, privacy law, security obligation, or contractual duty; and
  5. your use will not interfere with, abuse, scrape, overload, or circumvent any third-party service.

For public/free access, you may submit only public repository roots such as https://github.com/owner/repo. Do not submit private repositories, local file paths, file URLs, SSH URLs, credentialed URLs, access tokens, secrets, or data you do not have permission to process.

5. License you grant Arcwoven

You retain ownership of the content you submit, subject to any third-party rights and open-source licenses that may apply.

You grant Arcwoven a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, fetch, copy, process, transform, analyze, display, store, and create Generated Outputs from submitted content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, debug, and improve the Service. This license includes the right to use service providers and subprocessors that help Arcwoven operate the Service.

This license does not give Arcwoven ownership of your repository content.

6. Generated Outputs

Generated Outputs are produced from repository evidence and automated analysis. They may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing the underlying evidence, validating outputs, and deciding whether and how to rely on them.

Arcwoven does not provide legal, security, compliance, architectural, or professional advice through the Service.

7. Usage limits and changes to free access

Arcwoven may set and change limits on public/free use, including limits based on repository size, file types, import frequency, rate, workspace duration, supported languages, model types, or abuse risk. Arcwoven may modify, pause, or discontinue free access at any time.

8. Accounts and private access

Some features may require an account, authentication, payment, private access, or a separate agreement. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

If your organization signs a separate written agreement with Arcwoven, that written agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • submit private, confidential, credentialed, or sensitive content without authorization;
  • upload or process malware, exploit code, credential dumps, stolen data, or content that creates security risk beyond legitimate defensive analysis;
  • violate repository licenses, third-party terms, or intellectual-property rights;
  • attack, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass Arcwoven or third-party systems;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract Arcwoven proprietary models, prompts, ranking systems, evaluation systems, or non-public algorithms, except where law allows;
  • misrepresent Generated Outputs as human-verified when they are not;
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or high-risk activities; or
  • remove, obscure, or modify source, attribution, evidence, license, or proprietary notices in a way that violates law or third-party rights.

10. Third-party services and GitHub

The Service may interoperate with third-party services, including public code-hosting platforms. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms and policies.

Arcwoven is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by GitHub. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. Any reference to GitHub is for compatibility and source-location purposes only.

11. Arcwoven intellectual property

Arcwoven and its licensors own the Service, including software, design, interfaces, workflows, models, evaluation methods, documentation, trademarks, and other proprietary materials. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, Arcwoven reserves all rights in the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by these Terms or a separate written agreement.

12. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, you grant Arcwoven the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

13. Privacy

Arcwoven’s Privacy Policy explains how Arcwoven collects, uses, discloses, and retains information. By using the Service, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension and termination

Arcwoven may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove workspaces, or refuse import requests if Arcwoven believes you violated these Terms, created risk for Arcwoven or others, exceeded limits, submitted unsupported or unsafe content, or used the Service unlawfully.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

15. Disclaimers

The Service and Generated Outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcwoven disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

Arcwoven does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that Generated Outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcwoven will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or system availability, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcwoven’s total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid Arcwoven for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose; or (b) US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arcwoven and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to: your submitted content; your use of the Service; your Generated Outputs; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of law or third-party rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

Arcwoven may update these Terms from time to time. If Arcwoven makes material changes, it will provide notice by posting the updated Terms, updating the effective date, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Arcwoven will not rely on a quiet retroactive change to expand rights over previously submitted private content in a way that is materially inconsistent with the Privacy Policy or a written customer agreement.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by law, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.
